In October 2024, four members of our developer team—Mejsun, Sarah, Rob, and Andrew—had the opportunity to attend two key events at ExCeL London: Karren Brady’s Women in Business & Tech Expo 2024 and DTX London. Unfortunately, Dion couldn’t join the outing, but the rest of the team was able to take in valuable insights from both events, which were packed with industry-leading speakers, and important discussions around the future of technology and the role of diversity in the tech world.

On a cold Wednesday in the middle of November, our team of web developers (Rob, Jack, Sarah, Andrew, Ben, Mejsun, and Dion) delved into the bustling atmosphere of HalfStack London 2023. Located on Brick Lane, we found ourselves immersed in a world of innovation, kimchi-fueled camaraderie, and Heroin Chic ambiance.

The annual dev migration of 2023 led the 5app devs from London, Berlin to conglomerate under sunny June-sky in Bristol. Three missions were assigned to the team: eat as many pancakes as possible, be victorious at the dev pub quiz und sponge up knowledge at the Pixel Pioneers conference.

June 2022 was the month in which 5app devs from London, Berlin and Paris flocked to Amsterdam to eat their fill on Dutch pancakes, practice their octopod and to attend the Amsterdam JS Nation and React Summit.
